Reading it
- A sheet over about 60 lb is a two-person lift, or a panel cart, or a track saw and a first cut in the truck.
- Densities are nominal and vary by mill. MDF in particular runs heavier than people expect.
- Half sheets are half these figures; a quarter sheet is a quarter.

- Weight calculator
What a board or a stack of sheet goods weighs — for shelf brackets, a car boot, or a freight quote.
- Cut list optimizer
Lay your parts out on a sheet of plywood and get the cuts in order. Accounts for blade kerf and keeps the grain running the right way.
The tool this table is for
- Circular saw and track saw
Breaking a sheet down where it lies, and why a thinner kerf still will not save a 24" part.
